About Us

Aubrey was born and raised in a small town in north Louisiana. Aubrey was born with a love for adventure. Growing up in the country, with big pastures, creeks to navigate, fish to catch, and trees to climb, ensured that he would carry that love for adventure into adulthood. Today, if there is a river to kayak, fish to catch, a mountain to climb, or a trail to cut, he is all about it! Living in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where the Eau Claire River and the Chippewa converge, has certainly provided opportunity for lots of “before and after work” fishing! Aubrey also loves reading and building and re-purposing furniture.

I was born in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area and lived in a suburban community until I was 15 (2003). My Freshman year of high school, our family moved to a small town in north Louisiana…you can guess what (or who) that led to!  I learned the love of fishing from my dad, although, cruising across the lake in our bass boat was the closest I came to outdoor adventures! I love to read, I love history (I graduated with a History degree), and I enjoy crafting. I’m also learning more and more to love adventures!

Aubrey and I were both blessed to be raised in families that modeled for us how to live life by loving God and loving people. We have amazing parents and siblings that we are blessed to be able to do life with. We wouldn’t be where we are today without them!

A couple of years after moving to Louisiana, (2005), Aubrey and I met one night at a youth group dodge-ball game. We began hanging out together with mutual friends over that summer and began “officially” dating that fall. After dating for 4 years, lying in a hammock, Aubrey proposed. No getting down on one knee, or any dramatic event; one beautiful north Louisiana December day, snuggled up in a hammock, he popped the question, it was perfect! I was so excited that I threw my hands up in the air and knocked the ring out of the box and to the ground! We found it and he quickly put it on my finger! We took lots of great pictures to document this special day, but my camera had a glitch and deleted every one. Fail. Six months later we got married on June 20, 2009

In May of 2010, after I graduated college, we moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where we lived and worked for five years. We opened our own business (Summer Snow) that Aubrey ran during the summers while working on his master's degree from Bethel Seminary. Our time in Eau Claire was formative and sacred. Five years later, one house, puppy, two master's degrees (Aubrey's completed and mine underway) and one successful business adventure later we felt God calling us to our next big adventure, Church Planting. On March 20, 2015 we packed up our house, said some hard "see you laters" and moved to Asheville, NC. We lived in Asheville for two years, welcomed our first child, Stevie, there and packed up and headed to Greenville, SC to start our church!

We moved to Greenville in the spring of 2017 and launched our church, Table Community Church. in 2018. In 2019 we welcomed our second bundle to the family when Arlan was born. It has been a wild ride with no signs of slowing down.

We have been so blessed on this journey so far, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store! We hope you will follow along!
